We are very excited to announce that ACRL NM will have a meeting during the NMLA/MPLA conference! The meeting will be held Thursday, October 31st at 4:20 PM in Alvarado B. This will be an opportunity for you to meet the current officers, hear about the future of the SIG, and discuss any thoughts you might have on ways forward that would be productive and useful for you. We are working to build in new professional development opportunities, resources for instruction, information on publishing opportunities, and more – so we want to get your input on what you’d like to see. Whether you are currently a member, are thinking about becoming a member, or just want to hear what the SIG is all about we look forward to seeing and hearing from you!
Also, we want to make sure everyone is aware that ACRL National is bringing their “Project Outcome for Academic Libraries” workshop to the NMLA/MPLA Joint Conference Pre-Conference. Project Outcome is a free toolkit that helps libraries measure learning outcomes. The workshop is free of charge (limit to 50 attendees) and will be Wednesday, October 30th from 1-4pm in Alvarado C.
